An original talent, her expressive singing style, and versatility perfectly complement a variety of styles. And, as a Professor of Practice at Auburn University, she is passing on her expert knowledge to the next generation of commercial music artists. If you haven't already, you should make it point to catch one of the Sonic Nation (Commercial Music Ensemble) performances at Auburn University! What they are doing there, with the help of Jilla, is phenomenal! Jilla has performed at events in Las Vegas Casino's, theaters, and other venues from Singapore to Los Angeles. Some of her commercial credits include singing commercials for NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, and the WB. She was the vocal talent for Regis and Kathy Lee, Candid Camera, Dharma and Greg, Hawaiian Air, Rosie O'Donnell, and Must-See TV, to name a few. Still an active performer and recording artist, Jilla is recording a new solo original record. You can also find her CD featuring her mom's Harry James Orchestra arrangements on iTunes, and her albums, "Balance" and "Timeless" on her website. The Markets are scheduled for June 12th and 26th, and July 10th and 24th from 11:30am until 3:30pm in Dadeville's Pennington Park, 121 N. Spring Street. The Marketplace is a producers-only market that provides high-quality home-grown produce/handmade goods. Live music, when available, is scheduled on the pavilion during each market. Vendors interested in participating should email klpfitzner@gmail.com or call 334-233-9851 to request an application. Booth spaces are free. Return the application and attach a copy of your Growers Permit or Cottage Food license as applicable. "You'd think I was 90 years old." "The type of music I do is like rockabilly, honky tonk and rock and roll," Dalton said. "It's kind of a mix. I never really cared for labels. I enjoy different kinds of music, but I was raised on country." Along with music, Dalton has spent the past 33 years in law enforcement. On Friday night, we are over the top excited to bring two bands from the Auburn area. We'll start the night with a relatively new band, at 6:30, Supper Club will take the stage. Also Friday night from the Auburn area, but playing all over the country – The Stews! They will take the stage around 8pm and we are just getting started. On Saturday we again will kick the music off at 6:30. The Bank Walkers, Lake Martin's favorite cover band, will get things started!
